Allegion Schlage Lock Installation & Configuration Guide

Step-by-step guide to configure Allegion Schlage Locks.

Prerequisites Before Adding to Genea

Before you add Allegion Schlage Locks to the Genea platform, the following tools, applications, and setup procedures must be completed:

Required Tools and Applications

1. For Engage Gateway / NDE / LE Locks

2. For PIM400 & AD400 Locks

  • Applications:

    • Schlage Utility Software (SUS)

    • Allegion ENGAGE Mobile App (optional)

    • Download : SUS App

  • Hardware:

    • SUS-A Cable: Required to configure AD400 locks. Shipped separately from the lock.

  • Power Requirement:

    • Ensure 4.0V or higher battery level for USB communication with SUS/HHD. Lower voltage prevents successful connection.

3. For AD300 Locks

Mercury Controller Configuration

  • Firmware: Ensure Mercury controller firmware supports RS-485 integration for PIM400.

  • MP Controller Setting: Set "Reply Time" to 150 in the port configuration as per HID requirements.

Installation & Setup Instructions

Engage Gateway + NDE/LE Locks

  1. Use the Allegion ENGAGE Mobile App to configure Engage Gateway and NDE/LE locks.

  2. Enroll Engage Gateway in RSI Mode:

  3. Add Gateway in Genea:

    • Ensure the RS-485 address matches the configuration in the ENGAGE app.

  4. Link NDE Lock to Gateway:

📌 When configuring a door in the SUS app, assign the door number based on the PIM it is connected to. The address must fall within the low door and high door range defined for that PIM port and must be unique.

If two doors on the same PIM port are assigned the same address, they will not function correctly.
