When setting up, use the following packages to:
Update the reader firmware (if it is not on the latest version).
Load CGN1 (Genea Bluetooth) & CLTK2 (Wavelynx Wallet Demo) profiles.
1. Update Firmware
Application for Firmware Update:
Download and apply the update.

3. Wavelynx Wallet Profile Tokens
Contact Genea Support to obtain the Production Wavelynx Wallet Token.
Important Note:
At any given time, either WALLET or BLE can be active—both cannot function simultaneously.
4. Switching to OSDP Auto-Detect Mode (Supports Wiegand Communication)
To configure the reader, download the Wavelynx Config App: [Download App]
Use the following token to switch a reader from OSDP-only mode to Auto-Detect mode:
5. Resetting the Reader to OSDP Auto-Detect Mode
The reset process varies depending on the firmware version:
Firmware 3.0.1.0 and earlier:
Remove power from the reader.
Place the reader in a tampered state (tilt it at least 20 degrees from horizontal or vertical).
Power on the reader while it is in the tampered state.
Wait for 4 BEEPS, indicating the reset is complete.
The reader will return to OSDP Auto-Detect mode with default settings.
Firmware 4.0.0.0 to 4.0.4.0:
Remove power from the reader.
Place any compatible access card against the reader face.
Power on the reader and wait 5 seconds until the LED turns magenta.
Power cycle the reader or remove the card to let it restart.
The reader will emit 4 BEEPS during startup, indicating the reset is complete.
Note: This reset will not restore default OSDP settings.
Firmware 3.1.0.0, 4.1.0.0, and later:
Use configuration card
5044-FEA-OSDP-018to reset the reader back to OSDP Auto-Detect mode.
OSDP Default Settings:
Address: 0
Baud Rate: 9600
Configuring the Wavelynx Reader via the Configuration App
When launching the app, the initial screen presents four options:
Reader Details – Fetch reader details.
Reader Toolkit – Configure OSDP settings and update firmware.
After applying a firmware update, wait while the reader reboots and remain on the same screen. Once the reboot is complete, proceed with the firmware update.
