What is the Use of Apple Wallet in Access Control?
Apple Wallet in Access Control enables users to utilize their iPhones or Apple Watches as credentials for accessing secured areas. The Apple Wallet Tap & Access card operates through NFC technology, allowing communication with Wavelynx Access Control Readers.
This integration streamlines daily operations by allowing users to provision their Wavelynx Mobile Wallet Pass to their Apple Wallet on iPhones. These passes serve as credentials, which users can swipe or tap at Wavelynx Access Control Readers to gain entry.

FAQs:
How do I Sync the Wallet pass to my Apple Watch?
Ans: If your watch is already paired before provisioning the pass to Apple Wallet, the pass will sync automatically without any additional actions.
If you pair the watch after provisioning the pass to your phone’s Apple Wallet, refresh the Genea Mobile Access app. You will then see a separate "Add to Apple Wallet" button below the "View in Wallet" button. Click this button to provision the wallet pass to your Apple Watch.
My "Add to Apple Wallet" is stuck at the "Adding pass to Wallet" screen, what should I do?
Ans: "Add to wallet" takes a while, so you have to wait a couple of seconds and if that doesn't move forward, then check the settings on your phone to see if you need to re-login to iCloud. After re-logging in, try again and it should work. Alternatively, you can contact Genea's support team.
I have an existing Bluetooth key, and if I do "Add to Apple Wallet", will my existing Bluetooth key gets deactivated?
Ans: No, it will not deactivate any existing key you have. However, it’s important to know which key type the Wavelynx Reader is configured to accept. Your administrator can assist you with this information. Depending on the Wavelynx Reader's configuration mode, you can keep any compatible key on your device.
How can I provision multiple passes to Apple Wallet if I belong to different customer sites that provide me with office and/or gym access?
Ans: To provision multiple passes from different customer locations into your Apple Wallet, follow these steps:
Log into the Genea iOS application.
Select the customer location from the top left corner that you want to provision the pass for.
This will take you to the home screen, where you’ll see the "Add to Apple Wallet" option for the selected location’s pass.
Click on "Add to Wallet" to provision the pass into your Apple Wallet.
Repeat these steps for each location from which you want to add a pass.
How do I delete my Genea access card?
Ans: You can go to the Apple Wallet app on your phone and watch and "Remove the access badge" from the settings. See Apple help: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212170
How many devices can I use to add the pass to the Wallet?
Ans: You can use up to two devices (one iPhone and one Apple Watch) that are signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID.
If I have a Passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID on my phone, will I have to enter it every time I access the wallet pass?
Ans: If you are using Express Mode, no additional action is required. However, if you are not using Express Mode, you must authenticate each time you access your phone. This is a user security preference.
Note: Express Mode is enabled by default.
