What is the Use of Google Wallet in Access Control?
Google Wallet in Access Control allows users to use their Android phones as credentials for accessing controlled areas. The Google Wallet Tap & Access card functions through NFC technology, enabling communication with Wavelynx Access Control Readers.
This integration supports day-to-day operations such as granting access, where users can provision their Google Wallet Pass to their Android phones. These passes then act as credentials that users can swipe or tap at Wavelynx Access Control Readers to gain entry.
Pre-requisite:
Android Device Requirements:
Android OS version 12 and above.
Support of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology - enabled during Tap & Access operations
Software Requirements:
Google Wallet app must be installed on the Android device.
Latest Genea Mobile Access Android App
