The Genea Mobile App home screen now includes a personalized Digital ID Badge — showing your photo, your name, and your organization’s branding, right at the top of the app.
The Digital Badge is a personalized digital badge displayed on the Mobile App home screen. It is not a credential and is not linked to any specific credential — your access keys and cards continue to work exactly as they do today.
At the top of the home screen, user will now see a personalized identity header built from information your organization already manages in Genea:
Photo and Name — managed through your User Profile.
Branding Logo and Location Color — managed by your organization through Customer → Location → Settings.
This sits above your existing key-chain (user wallet cards and mobile keys). Your key-chain, “Add to Apple Wallet” / “Add to Google Wallet,” and the rest of the app navigation are unchanged.
If a photo or branding isn’t set up
If you don’t have a profile photo, or your organization hasn’t configured location branding, the layout automatically adjusts to display whatever information is available.
When will changes show up in the app?
Any update to your photo, name, or your organization’s Branding Logo is reflected in the app on the next app session or pull-to-refresh — you don’t need to reinstall or log out.
If you don’t see this feature, please update the app to the latest version from the App Store (v4.4.3 or later) or Google Play Store (v3.19.0 or later).
Digital Badge customization, support for custom attributes, and user or credential status on Digital Badges are not supported currently.
