Admins have the flexibility to regulate whether employees can initiate multi-day visits for their guests or visitors.

To control the multi-day setting, proceed as below:

Navigate to Visitor Management > Visitor Type > Settings in your admin dashboard.

Navigate to "Multi Day Visit Settings," click 'Edit', and activate the toggle button for the "Allow Scheduling a multi-day visit" option.

After activating the multi-day visit toggle, users are presented with two choices: they can either specify a fixed number of days for the multi-day invite or opt for an unlimited duration.

Choose the desired option and click 'Save' to implement the configuration. This setting will take effect for subsequent invitations.

Note: Overnight Visits are treated as multi-day visits. To facilitate an invitation spanning two separate days, even if the duration is less than 24 hours, the admin user must activate the multi-day visit option for a minimum of two days.

If a visitor is assigned a QR code for a multi-day visit, that QR code will remain valid for the entire duration of the visit, covering all days within the specified visit period.

For a Genea system with building-sync enabled, the multi-day visit settings for tenant users will be contingent on configurations made by both building admins and tenant admins. The behavior will align with the following:

The Tenant Portal's multi-day visit settings are constrained by the fixed number established in the Building Portal. In other words, the Tenant Portal cannot schedule multi-day visits beyond the configured limit set in the Building Portal. Any attempt by the user to exceed this limit will result in an error message, preventing the scheduling of such visits. The message will convey the restriction to the user with information of set limit by building portal as well for better configuration.
