If your property uses Genea Visitor Management System, you might invite the visitors for a meeting, interview, general visit, etc. Hence it’s important to create a positive workplace experience and recollect the visit experience.

Genea allows location admins to add custom questions to the check-out flow. You can also create any number of customized check-out fields, such as:

How was the visit experience?

Reason for the rating

Date of next visit

Anything, really! If you need it, you can capture it.

CUSTOM CHECK-OUT FIELDS

With Genea, you have 4 different types of custom fields that you can create. They are:

  1. Text - this type of field will provide visitors with a keyboard that they can use to type out information, such as a company name or address.

  2. Date - this type of field will provide visitors with a calendar that they can use to select a specific date, such as the date of visit.

  3. Multi Selection - this type of field will provide visitors with multiple responses that they can select to answer a question. With multi-selection, visitors can select multiple options from the list.

  4. Single-Selection - this type of field will provide visitors with multiple responses that they can select from to answer a question. With a single selection, visitors can only select a single option from the list.

How to Create Custom Check-out Fields

1) Navigate to Visitor Management > Visitor Flow from your Genea admin dashboard. Click on the specific ‘Visitor Type’ and go to the "Check-Out Fields" tab.

2) To create a custom check-out field, click on the ‘Add New Field’ drop-down bar, and select the type of field that you would like to create.

Text Fields

If creating a text field, input the name of the field and click ‘Save.’ Once created, your visitors will be prompted to type in a response to the field when checking out from your property.

Date Fields

If creating a date field, input the name of the field and click ’Save.’ Once created, your visitors will be prompted to select a date from a calendar for the field when checking out from your property.

Single & Multi Selection Fields

If creating a multi-selection or single selection field, input the name of the field, then click the ‘Add option’ button to create multiple answers for visitors to choose from when checking out from your property. Once all options have been created, click ’Save.’ Once created, your visitors will be prompted to select either a single answer or, if needed, multiple answers for the field when checking out from your property.

After creating your check-out flow, your flow should immediately reflect what you’ve designed in your Genea dashboard.

When visitors will check out, either from the iPad or from their own device, they will be prompted with customized check-out flow questions.
