Neat Frame is a dedicated Android-based kiosk device that runs the Genea Visitor Management check-in experience — the same walk-in and pre-registered check-in flows available on the iPad Kiosk app, on purpose-built kiosk hardware.
1. Set up the physical device
Unbox the Neat Frame device and connect it to power.
Connect the device to your Wi-Fi network.
Install the Genea Visitor Management app.
2. Add the device in your admin dashboard
Go to Visitor Management → Devices, and click + New.
Name the device — Genea recommends naming it after the location where it will be installed.
Click Add.
3. Pair the device
After adding the device, Genea will generate a pairing code.
On the Neat Frame device, open the app and enter the pairing code when prompted, then confirm.
Currently, infrastructure-side pairing supports only the US region.
4. Confirm the device is online
Once paired successfully, the device status in your admin dashboard will change from Pending pair to Online.
The Neat Frame will immediately reflect your location's configured sign-in flow — the same check-in questions, visitor types, and settings used on iPad kiosks.
Resetting or unpairing a Neat Frame device
Resetting or deleting the device from Visitor Management → Devices in the dashboard will automatically clear the pairing on the Neat Frame device, returning it to the pairing screen.
If you need to re-pair the device afterward, follow the pairing steps above using a new pairing code.
Note: In-app reset and Bluetooth printer pairing (Maintenance Mode) are not yet available on Neat Frame. These are planned for a future release — resets should be performed from the admin dashboard for now.
