What is a door group?
A door group is a selection of specific doors and/or gates at your property. You will create door groups so that your users can have access to only the doors they will need to use at your space. For example, if you have a user that needs access to a lobby door and a supply closet door, you will create a door group that includes both of those doors.
How to Create a Door Group
1) Click on the ‘Access Control’ tab in your Genea admin dashboard. Navigate to the 'Door Groups' section and press the '+ Add' button.
2) Name the Door Group, add a description if desired, and then click on button(s) associated with the door(s) you would like include in the group. When the button is blue, the associated door will be included within the door group.
3) Press the ‘Save’ button and your door group will be created. Once created, it can be added to an access group.
