If you're using the Genea Visitor Management iPad app and want to help pre-registered guests quickly find their registration details to complete the check-in process, this guide shows you how.
Quick Guide for Checking In Pre-Registered Guests
If you're new to the Genea Visitor Management iPad app and need instructions on how to pair it with the Genea Visitor Management system, please refer to this article.
Once paired successfully, follow these steps:
Tap 'Check in on Kiosk': You'll see two options:
Search for pre-registered guest details.
Register walk-in guests using "I'm walking in - Check-in Now". Refer to this article for more info.
Search for Pre-Registered Guests:
To check in a pre-registered guest, search using their name, email address, or both and click "Search".
Based on your search criteria, matching registration details will appear.
For security reasons, the email address will be masked, and guests must enter it correctly. Only records for the current date will be displayed.
Here's the reference invite registered in the Web app by the Host.
Review and Select Registration:
Guests can verify their details and select their registration.
If the guestâs information isnât found, they can click âTry Againâ to adjust search criteria or select âCheck-in Nowâ to register as a walk-in.
Complete Check-In:
Once the correct registration is found, the guest will complete the check-in by filling out any required forms (questionnaires, NDA, photo, etc.).
Badge Printing:
If a printer is connected, the badge will automatically print. The guest can then collect it from the printer tray.
On the web app, the visitorâs status will update to âArrived,â and the host will be notified via email or push notification.
This feature does not currently support searching pre-registered guests via the Genea Visitor Management Tenant Portals for building sync solutions.
